Thanksgiving Day 2021 my life changed forever. I had a SCAD heart attack. I was in complete shock. At the time I was a healthy and fit 46 year old. How could I possibly have a heart attack? 

From tons of doctor appointments and research I have learned many facts:

Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) is a little known and poorly understood type of heart attack. SCAD is the #1 cause of heart attacks in women under age 50, pregnant women & new moms. Most patients are younger, healthy women who do not have the typical risk factors of heart disease. Although less common, it can affect men too. Research is needed to identify the cause(s) and the best treatment options.

I have made it my mission to donate as much as I can towards SCAD research. 25% of profits from every hand poured candle will go towards research.

The Collections will only be available 6 times per year (Spring, Summer, Fall, Holiday & Winter). My hope is to sell out of each one and start over with the next one.  One of these collections there will be a customer drawing. So 25% of profits will go to anything that the customer wants (St, Jude's, breast cancer, dog rescue, etc).
